Visiting Grandpa

On Valentine's Day we stopped over to see Grandpa and take him some Valentine treats. We happened to be there when his favorite clock struck on the hour. It plays a tune and pieces turn in a circle. It sure tickles Grandpa each hour and he loves to share it with his family. We sure love Grandpa and are thankful for him in our lives. We miss Grandma since she passed away last summer and hope we get to have Grandpa around for a while! He's a tough old man with a great big heart. Each time we visit he tells us, with tears in his eyes, how he's never felt pain like losing his sweetheart. He loves his family so much and is a great example of love, faith, and courage. We love you, Grandpa!

Cats, Cats, and More Cats

Our lives for the last few months have revolved around the musical, Cats. James has had the opportunity to be a part of this musical and I feel very blessed that he made the high school production as a sophomore. Many, many hours have gone into practicing, costuming, box office, set construction, rehearsal dinners, makeup and wig workshops, and that's just what we as a family contributed. There have been so many people that have made this production a success. We are finally to performance weeks and it's so great to see the fruits of our labors. James has really enjoyed having an audience and feel the excitement of the cast as they perform. It's a great show with great talent. I'm so grateful James has had the chance to be a part of this amazing show!
